Hi! My name is Autumn but my family and friends call me Pooper. I was adopted at 6 months old from the shelter and went to my forever home. My sister from another dog mother, Dora (also from the shelter) beat me there by a few months. I'm now 14 1/2 years old! My likes are 2 sausages when I get up, naps, chicken jerky and one treat before bed. My dislikes are potatoes, the fly swatter (even though I've never been hit!!!!), lightening and any time mom leaves the house. I lost my sister Dora in 2025 and we miss her so much but I still have my human brother and sister, they're just all grown up now! I'll always be grateful my parents went to the shelter and found me and my sister and I hope all the other dogs (and yes, even cats!!!), will be just as lucky!

Remember the day you brought your HSPC pet home? Maybe they were shy. Maybe they were goofy. Maybe they were exactly what you needed at exactly the right time.
Now, your story could help another pet find their person.
